Lamar State College Port Arthur

Brian Esquivel joined the Lamar State College Port Arthur athletic department in February 2019 and serves as the Athletic Business Manager/Campus Event Coordinator.

He served as Director of Student Activities at Lamar State College Port Arthur before joining the athletic department.  Esquivel comes to LSCPA after 20-plus years with Barnes & Noble Education, where he was General Manager of the college bookstores on the Lamar University, Lamar State College Port Arthur and Lamar State College Orange campuses. He served several roles prior to becoming general manager with Barnes & Noble Education, including store supervisor of the Lamar State College Port Arthur Bookstore, Textbook Manager and Assistant General Manager with Barnes & Noble at Lamar University.

Esquivel graduated from Lamar State College Port Arthur with an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice and continued his education at Lamar University. Esquivel received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in psychology from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.
