It was a monumental night at the Carl Parker Center in Port Arthur as Lamar State College Port Arthur maintained a perfect record at home while the Seahawks' main man, Head Coach Lance Madison, earned his 200th career victory.

The scrappy Seahawks dominated Strength and Motion International 92-49 on the backs of four players in double-figures, including Jailan Ardoin coming off the bench to lead with 15 points.

Seahawks Pete Ragusa added 14 points, Bentravin Phillips put in 13 points, and Jabi Alberto pitched in 10 more as LSCPA ran its record to 6-2 for the season.

Coming into the year, Madison sported a 194-145 won-loss record, needing six more victories to reach the 200-win milestone. This year, Madison is in search of his sixth 20-win season and has a great start on that mark already.

"This is a good group of guys and we're going to go a long way this season," said Madison, the Seahawks' coach for the past 11 years. "This team is dedicated to doing what's necessary to win. I'm honored to have been part of this program's history, and I'm happy that these players were part of such a big milestone for me."

Madison has reached the NJCAA Region 14 Tournament in each of the past 10 seasons. He reached his 100th conference win near the end of last season. The 23-24 conference season starts on Wednesday, November 29, when Kilgore College visits the Parker Center to put the Seahawks' unblemished home record to the test. That game tips off at 7 p.m.
