Seahawks game vs. Trinity Valley postponed due to COVID

Lamar State College Port Arthur and Trinity Valley Community College are postponing their game scheduled for Monday, Jan. 3, after TVCC players tested positive for COVID.

Under NJCAA Region 14 COVID protocols, if fewer than eight players are available to play, the game in question can be postponed. TVCC officials notified LSCPA coaches on Monday morning saying a postponement was necessary. A date for the rescheduled conference game will be announced at a later date.

LSCPA recently had to postpone its Region 14 game against Navarro College due to a COVID-positive test. That game has been rescheduled for Monday, January 17, at 4 p.m. in Corsicana.

The next regularly-scheduled game for the Seahawks is this Wednesday with LSCPA traveling to play Paris Junior College at 7 p.m. That game will be broadcast live online at www.lamarstateseahawks.com
