Henderson muscles Hawks past Strength N Motion, 93-70

Jordan Henderson scored 15 points with 13 rebounds to lead Lamar State College Port Arthur past Strength N Motion 93-70 on Tuesday night at the Carl Parker Center.

The win pushes the Seahawks to 4-2 for the season as they stay perfect at home at 4-0.

Henderson's effort was supported by three other Seahawks who scored in double-figures, including Rashawn Ford Jr. with a team-best 16 points, Adam Scherbakov with 13, and Simeon Richardson-Collins with 10.

Big 7-footer Antonio Batis was quiet early but came on strong in the second half to scored eight points in the paint, grabbing four big rebounds, including three on the offensive boards. Richardson-Collins also went hard to the boards, grabbing eight rebounds, including six on the offensive end.

The Seahawks head to Pensacola, Florida for the Pensacola State College Tournament starting Monday, November 21. The Hawks face Gulf Coast State College at 5 p.m. on November 21, Northwest Florida State College at 3 p.m. on November 22, and home team PSC at 3 p.m. on November 23.

The NJCAA Region 14 opener for LSCPA is at home on Wednesday, November 30, at 7 p.m. as the Hawks take on the Panola Ponies.
