Home has been sweet for Lamar State College Port Arthur as the Seahawks rolled to their second straight win in the Carl Parker Center, 91-78, over Strength and Motion International on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

The win marks a 2-0 start for the Hawks with a third home game coming Monday night at home against the Houston Gladiators. That game tips at 7 p.m. The Seahawks finally hit the road for a tournament trip when they travel to Plano to face Odessa College on Friday and Howard College on Saturday with each game tipping at 10 a.m.

Jaylen Subject led the Seahawks against Strength and Motion with 17 points and six rebounds, while Jailan Ardoin added 14 points and Joseph Wiltz had 12 points. SNM's Daemon Ely led all scorers with 26 points while Davonte Durst added 18 points in the losing effort.
