Joseph Wiltz and Omari Ward each came off the bench to score in double figures for Lamar State College Port Arthur, but it wasn't enough to overcome Howard College in an 85-60 loss in the second day of the Collin College Classic in Plano, Texas on Saturday, November 11.

Wiltz, the lone returning player for the Hawks, scored 11 points, while Ward hit for 10 as LSCPA dropped to 3-2 for the season.

Howard College jumped out to a hefty 39-21 lead at the halftime break then kept the pressure on through the final 20 minutes as they improved their record to 5-2 for the season.

The Seahawks' Jackson Thoele just missed a double-double performance in the game, scoring nine points with nine rebounds.

The Hawks are back home as they take on Lone Star College-Kingwood at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, and Lone Star College-Tomball at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 18. The Hawks are undefeated at home so far this season.
