Lamar State College Port Arthur managed just four hits while committing three fielding errors in a 6-0 shutout loss to Wallace State College-Dothan at the Faulkner State Sun Chief Classic on Saturday, Feb. 16 in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Makasha Brown went 2 for 3 while Rebecca DeLome and Madeline Stone each had a hit in the game.

Britni Hunt worked the first 4.1 innings in the pitcher's circle, allowing five runs, four earned, on 10 hits with three strikeouts and one walk. Jessica Saenz worked the final 1.2 innings, allowing one unearned run on three hits with a walk.
