Athletes, coaches, administrators and boosters came together on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 to celebrate the year's athletics accomplishments at the 2019 Seahawks All-Sports Athletics Banquet, held at the Carl Parker Center on the campus of Lamar State College Port Arthur.

Joe and Dabeyva Tant presented their annual Jace Edward Tant Scholarship to freshmen softball players Britni Hunt and Rebecca DeLome during the 2019 Athletics Banquet. Director of Athletics Scott Street led the program with coaches for men's basketball and women's softball took the stage in turn to name their superlatives for the 2018-19 sports seasons.

Basketball Head Coach Lance Madison gave an overview of his team's season, which included a two-game deep run into the NJCAA Region 14 Tournament in Bossier City, Louisiana. He was joined on stage by Associate Head Coach Casey Apetrei and Assistant Coach Michael Nellison as the team's MVPs were announced:

Offensive Most Valuable Player: Nathan Bailey, sophomore

Defensive Most Valuable Player: Alex Williams, sophomore

Most Improved: Tevin Baker, sophomore

Mr. Versatility: Devaughn Thomas, freshman

Charge Champ: Terrance Minor, freshman

Vance Edwards, head coach for softball, was joined on stage by Assistant Coach Brittany Baker as their program's top players were honored:

Most Improved Player: Madeline Stone, freshman

Golden Glove: Brooke Smith, freshman

Silver Slugger: Olivia Rivera, sophomore

Spirit Award: Rebecca DeLome, freshman

Most Valuable Player: Bailey Crorey, sophomore
